PONANT has welcomed the return of small expedition ship Le Lapérouse to Sydney Harbour after more than three years, kickstarting its highly anticipated 2023 season.

PONANT has added new voyages over the southern hemisphere’s summer season for 2023/24. Among the closer-to-home voyages are new itineraries that will explore the South Pacific Ocean, along with cruises through the Tropics and further afield, including the Northern Lights of Norway.

PONANT is the first international expedition cruise company to return to cruising in Australia, with the arrival and operation of the 184 guest Le Lapérouse and 264 guest Le Soléal, two modern ships from its fleet of 13 compact purpose-built luxury expedition ships.
