A strong sense of ambition and a desire to grow have been highlighted as a key driver for Link Travel Group’s decision to invite Planet Blue Travel to join its growing network, General Manager Scott Darlow has revealed.

Link Travel Group has marked its third anniversary since inception by surpassing $1 billion in total transaction value (TTV) from its members. The invitation-only collective has swollen to 36 outlets from 32 brands, spread across five states, and reports that it expects “substantial growth” through financial year 2026.

Complex Travel Group is charging full speed ahead with ambitious expansion plans, as it works towards a TTV target of $250 million.

Infinity Holidays and Link Travel Group have created a new partnership to significantly boost the level of support and product range available to members in the Link network.

Link Travel Group’s evolution continues to gather momentum, with the collective reporting rising interest in agencies interested in joining thanks to its strong partnerships and future focus.

Last Saturday, Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) and its independent affiliates took home seven awards at the Australian Travel Industry Association’s (ATIA) National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA), the industry’s most prestigious annual awards program.

Close to 150 Owners, Managers and Advisors in Link Member agencies, some from interstate, attended various specialist workshops hosted by Link’s General Manager, Scott Darlow, and Link’s newly appointed National Business Manager, Emmalita Malmberg.

Link Travel Group has announced a significant expansion of its membership base, confirming seven new members have also aligned with the joint venture agency group effective 1 July 2024.
