This past week, LATTE has been aboard the stunning Viking Mississippi as we ply the waters of the Might Mississippi between New Orleans, Louisiana and Memphis, Tennessee.

American Cruise Lines’ 5th vessel in its new riverboat class – American Symphony – was launched earlier this month in the US.

Viking’s first riverboat dedicated to the US market, Viking Mississippi, has been “floated out” in Louisiana, marking a major construction milestone and the first time the ship has touched water. Set to debut in June 2022, Viking Mississippi will sail the Lower and Upper Mississippi River, between New Orleans and St. Paul.

American Cruise Lines has launched its newest modern riverboat, American Melody. The 91-room American Melody is currently sailing the line’s longest Mississippi River voyage – the 22-Day Complete Mississippi River Cruise.
