MSC Cruises officially named its newest flagship, MSC Seashore, last Thursday [18 November 2021] at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve in The Bahamas. It was the first naming ceremony for a cruise ship to be held at the private island which is owned by the cruise line.
MSC Seashore has welcomed her first guests as MSC Cruises’ most innovative next-generation ship to-date became the 19th ship to join the line’s fleet, in the process becoming its newest flagship.
At 339 metres in length, MSC Seashore is destined to be MSC Cruises’ longest cruise ship when she begin operation in June 2021. Details were revealed during a coin ceremony at Fincantieri’s shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy last week for the laying of the keel. Further details of the ships overall design were also revealed.
