Myconian Sunrise Relais & Châteaux is showing off a redesign inspired by Mykonos in the 1970s. In addition, Sunrise has been admitted into Relais & Châteaux for its “commitment to authenticity, place, and exceptional hospitality.”

The Myconian Collection has confirmed its property, Sunrise Mykonos, has officially joined the prestigious Relais & Châteaux, marking a defining moment in the group’s ongoing pursuit of excellence.

The Myconian Collection has renamed its latest boutique property on the sun-soaked island of Mykonos. Formerly known as Kensho, the hotel situated on the iconic Ornos Beach will now be known as Kove—a name that reflects its exceptional sense of place and celebrates its storied heritage.

Four Seasons has unveiled plans for a brand-new 94-key resort on the Greek island of Mykonos. Located along the coastline of Kalo Livadi Bay, Four Seasons Resort Mykonos, Greece will offer exquisite views of the Aegean Sea.  Featuring a mix of luxury rooms, villas and suites, the beachside resort is earmarked to welcome guests next year over the northern summer.

Greece’s Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced plans last weekend to introduce a 20 Euros (AU$33) levy on cruise ship visitors to the popular tourist islands of Santorini and Mykonos over the peak summer season. The strategy aims to tackle the issue of over tourism facing those islands.
