Add one more travel segment that Forbes Travel Guide (“FTG”) is now affording its star rating: river cruises.

Kerzner International has signed its second One&Only resort and community of Private Homes in the United States. Partnering with Nolan Reynolds International and the Culinary Institute of America, this latest project will be located in Hyde Park in the Hudson River Valley of New York state, and is earmarked to open in 2028.

The wellness-focused SIRO hotel brand has been flagged as a key avenue for growth for hotel giant Kerzner, as its caps its One&Only and Atlantis portfolios in order to maintain their exclusivity.

The new Private Homes Rental Program from One&Only will offer ultra-luxury accommodation in some of the world’s most spectactular destinations, including private homes within One&Only Le Saint Géran in Mauritius which ae available for rent from April.

Reservations are now open for One&Only Moonlight Basin, the hotel firm’s first US property which will open on 18 November 2025.
