MSC Cruises officially named its newest flagship, MSC Seashore, last Thursday [18 November 2021] at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve in The Bahamas. It was the first naming ceremony for a cruise ship to be held at the private island which is owned by the cruise line.

Seabourn has relaunched services in the United States with the arrival of Seabourn Ovation into PortMiami, Florida on Thursday [18 November 2021] last week. The vessel arrived after a 12-day Atlantic crossing.

Sir Richard Branson’s Virtuoso Preferred cruise line, Virgin Voyages, this week embarked on its “first official” sailing from PortMiami, bound for the Caribbean.

Seabourn is now accepting reservations for series of new itineraries aboard Seabourn Ovation operated out of Miami between November 2021 and April 2022, coinciding with the ship’s maiden stop in a US port.

Virgin Voyages has revealed renderings of its new two-storey cruise facility and “future home” on Dodge Island in Miami, from where its maiden ship, Scarlet Lady, will homeport once constructed.
