Shanghai landmark, the Peace Hotel, will undergo an extensive transformation before reemerging in 2027 as the Raffles Peace Hotel Shanghai.

Raffles Hotels & Resorts has unveiled plans to bring the storied brand to Mexico’s Los Cabos region. Raffles Estera East Cape Resort & Residences is slated to debut in 2029, expanding Raffles’ presence in North America and marking the global luxury hospitality leader’s first resort in the region.

Accor has shared insight into its 2024 development activity and growth prospects for 2025 and beyond. In 2024, Accor expanded its portfolio with the opening of 293 hotels and resorts, adding 50,000 rooms. Accor has formalised changes to its organisation – which came into effect from 1 January 2023 – splitting the hospitality firm into two divisions: i) Premium, Midscale and Economy, and ii) Luxury and Lifestyle.

Accor’s ultra-luxury brand, Raffles Hotels & Resorts, has been confirmed as the new operator of the Emerald Palace on Palm Jumeirah, Dubai. The property was previously managed by Kempinski Hotels until recently.
