The launch of Cathay Pacific’s non-stop service between Hong Kong and Rome marks the airline’s return to the Italian capital, reestablishing a key link between Asia and Europe.

The first ever hotel from Orient Express has officially launched with Orient Express La Minerva now welcoming guests in Rome – a huge milestone for the Accor-owned brand.

Cathay Pacific will reinstate non-stop flights between Hong Kong and Rome, commencing 5 June 2025, with a thrice weekly seasonal service. The route will complement Cathay Pacific’s five weekly services to Milan, which will increase to daily over the 2025 Northern summer.
