Sabre Corporation has struck a definitive agreement with asset management firm, TPG, to sell Sabre’s Hospitality Solutions business of US$1.1 billion. The deal will see TPG Capital, the firm’s US and European private equity platform, invest in Sabre’s Hospitality Solutions.

Sabre Corporation has announced it will roll out the Sabre Red Launchpad™ globally following promising results during its pilot phase with Internova Travel Group and early adopter, 1000 Mile Travel Group. The user-friendly interface provides agents with easy access to AI-powered capabilities and multi-source content, without the need for deep Global Distribution System expertise.

Sabre Corporation has unveiled the development of a new booking solution, Sabre Red Launchpad™, designed for new or independent travel advisors. Sabre developed Sabre Red Launchpad, an extension of Sabre Red 360, with launch partner Internova Travel Group, one the world’s largest travel services companies.

Sabre Corporation has expanded its travel risk management product, SafePoint, to include global travel restriction tracking. Whilst the solution is not limited to a singular event, it provides information regarding the spread of COVID-19 and new variants as well as destination entry restrictions imposed by countries including masks, vaccinations, health documentation and quarantine requirements.
