Scandinavian Airlines is responding to increasing customer demand for premium service, introducing a new European Business Class, effective 1 October 2025. The new offering ensures a clear and recognisable Business Class product, providing an elevated experience tailored to customers seeking comfort, flexibility, and a higher level of service.

SAS – Scandinavian Airlines has unveiled an extensive expansion from Copenhagen starting with the (northern) summer traffic program for 2025, positioning the main hub as a key international gateway to and from Scandinavia and Northern Europe.

SAS (Scandinavian Airlines) has revealed plans to split from the Star Alliance global aviation group, switching across to rival SkyTeam later this year.

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has taken delivery of the first of eight Airbus A350-900 aircraft, with the launch jet set to enter commercial service on 28 January. SAS’s A350-900 features a modern three-class cabin layout with 300 seats: 40 ‘SAS Business’ class, 32 ‘SAS Plus’ class and 228 ‘SAS Go’ class seats. The airline will start to operate the new aircraft on its Copenhagen-Chicago long-haul route, followed by other international destinations including North America and Asia, namely Beijing, New York, Tokyo, Shanghai, Hong Kong and San Francisco.
