Seabourn welcomed the President of French Polynesia, Moetai Brotherson, on board Seabourn Pursuit on Sunday 7 April 2025, during the ship’s call to Papeete, Tahiti in French Polynesia.

Seabourn is urging those eying a voyage aboard its expedition ships in 2025 to book now, with a booking surge expected to impact prices.

Seabourn has unveiled its new 2026/2027 expedition itineraries that will see Seabourn Venture and Seabourn Pursuit visit up to 161 destinations in 31 countries on 24 unique sailings of 46 departures. The program will operate in the Arctic, Antarctica, South Pacific and a third deployment to the Kimberley.

A submarine dive by the team aboard Seabourn Pursuit, the luxury cruise line’s newest expedition ship, has uncovered a ship lost for 110 years off the coast of Alejandro Selkirk Island in Chile’s Juan Fernández Archipelago.

A recent visit to Western Australia’s Kimberley region has had a profound impact on the President of Seabourn, Natalya Leahy. Speaking with LATTE at Virtuoso Travel Week earlier this month, Leahy said she was mesmerised by the landscapes and Indigenous culture which has left a permanent imprint on her soul.

Seabourn has added an extra departure of its popular Antarctica expedition voyages on Seabourn Venture during the 2025/26 season.

Seabourn named Seabourn Pursuit in a unique and historic expedition naming ceremony at Ngula Jar Island, Australia on Saturday 29 June 2024. With guests on Zodiacs alongside the ship and the onboard team lined up along the decks, the Wunambal Gaambera Traditional Owners named Seabourn Pursuit, marking the first time Traditional Owners named a ship.

Seabourn Pursuit, Seabourn’s newest ultra-luxury, purpose-built expedition vessel, made its maiden arrival at Broome on Saturday morning. The ship is sailing in the Kimberley for the first time on a series of 10-day voyages between Darwin and Broome from June to August 2024, and had just completed it’s first.

Seabourn Pursuit entered Australian waters for the first time, sailing into Darwin in the Northern Territory this morning [11 June 2024]. The arrival of Seabourn’s second of two expedition ships marks the start of the cruise line’s highly-anticipated inaugural season in the Kimberley region, which commences on 12 June when the ship sets sail on the first of six 10-day voyages between Darwin and Broome from June to August 2024.
