Silversea has launched a major upgrade to its Galápagos Islands offering, with exclusive charter flights and refined pre- and post-cruise experiences to reduce travel time and deepen guest immersion in one of the world’s most treasured ecosystems.

Silversea has reintroduced its popular ‘$6,000 Reasons to Sail with Silversea’ offer. The promotion provides a savings of AU$6,000 per suite on Door-to-Door All-Inclusive fares — or AU$ 3,000 savings per suite on Port-to-Port All-Inclusive fares — with a 15% reduced deposit.

Silversea Cruises has opened a pre-sale on a new collection of 206 voyages for summer 2025 — set to depart between March and November 2025. The new voyage collection includes some of the most diverse regional offerings in ultra-luxury cruising.

Silversea Cruises has been recognised as the first tour operator to gain certification in environmental management in the Galapagos Islands. The ultra-luxury and expedition cruise line is the first operator to divert all waste from landfill disposal in the Galapagos.

Silversea Cruises has released a new Suite Upgrades promotion for new bookings that provides exclusive benefits on 130 voyages departing before 31 May 2024.

Silversea Cruises officially welcomed Silver Origin to its fleet with a ceremony held in San Cristobal, the Galápagos Islands in late February. The destination-specific, 100-guest vessel was delivered to the ultra-luxury cruise line last year and has been in operation since June.

Silversea Cruises has released a sneak peek of its new 2023/2024 program, packed with over 280 new itineraries exploring more than 900 destinations in 125 countries around the world.

Silversea Cruises has wound back the deposit requirement on a select range of voyages when booking by 31 August 2021. Guests will now only be required to provide a 15% deposit per suite to secure a booking, down from the traditional 25% of the total cruise fare.

Silversea Cruises will return to service in the Galápagos Islands with its new ship Silver Origin, commencing 19 June 2021. The ultra-luxury ship arrived in San Cristóbal at the end of April.

Silversea Cruises has delayed its inaugural Expedition World Cruise by 12 months as part of revised operating schedule confirmed this week. A revised collection of 157 new expedition voyages, operating from January 2021 through to July 2022, have been released.

Silversea Cruises has confirmed it expects to take delivery of its new Galapagos Islands-based ship, Silver Origin, at the end of May.
