Italian authorities have fined Silversea €1,032 for a manoeuvre by Silver Ray off the coast of Capri that brought the vessel too close to the renowned Faraglioni rock formations.

Silversea has released 230 new voyages for 2026/2027, covering all seven continents and featuring 131 expedition voyages and 99 ocean sailings (in over 400 destinations in more than 85 countries).

Silversea has reintroduced its popular ‘$6,000 Reasons to Sail with Silversea’ offer. The promotion provides a savings of AU$6,000 per suite on Door-to-Door All-Inclusive fares — or AU$ 3,000 savings per suite on Port-to-Port All-Inclusive fares — with a 15% reduced deposit.

Silversea has taken delivery of Silver Ray, the second ship in its innovative Nova Class, from Meyer Werft during a presentation overnight on the Eemshavem in the Netherlands.

Silversea celebrated the float out of its second Nova-class ship, Silver Ray, at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany on 25 February.

Silversea and shipbuilder Meyer Werft hosted a group of select travel advisors to celebrate the keel laying of Silver Ray℠ at the Papenburg shipyard in Germany last week.
