The AU$70 million refurbishment of the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth is nearing completion, with the five-star hotel unveiling its new look this week.

Accor, always known to stage events with a touch of class, excelled itself again on Wednesday night with a celebration of luxury at Sydney’s iconic 5-star Sofitel Wentworth. It marked the establishment of a fresh organisational structure that brings the three brands under one team.

A newly refreshed Sofitel Sydney Wentworth subtly reopened to leisure guests this week, signalling the return of ‘Joie de vivre’ at the historic address in the heart of the CBD. Having reopened on 10 March 2020, the five-star French-inspired hotel has been busy behind the scenes, enhancing facilities, designing new menus and bolstering its workforce in anticipation of a return to regular operation.
