Tauck’s investment in two new river boats for the Rhône and Seine in Europe is likely to be broadened to even more new ships, LATTE can reveal. Speaking with LATTE at Virtuoso Travel Week, Tauck’s President, Jeremy Palmer, alluded to further fleet expansion on the rivers.

Tauck will launch four new European land journeys in 2026, expanding into lesser-visited regions of Greece, Scotland’s Highlands and Scandinavian capitals, with itineraries designed for both families and adults. The company reports that the expansion comes amid “incredible demand” in all three regions, with many of Tauck’s itineraries is these regions selling out completely in both 2024 and 2025.

Three new journeys through the American West as well as itineraries in Mexico, Alaska and Nova Scotia have been added to Tauck’s 2026 portfolio of North American land tours.

The addition of two new itineraries to Tauck’s 2026 small ship ocean cruising line-up comes as the operator reported unprecedented success in the cruising category.

Tauck hosted 76 guests, consisting of 45 Australian travel advisors plus their guests, at the Tauck Australia Academy in Portugal last week.

More details have been revealed about the two new riverships that will join Tauck’s fleet of riverboats in 2026, with the vessels to be named ms Serene and ms Lumière.

Tauck’s decision to shut down all of its operations for close to a week for a recent celebration of its 100-year milestone is a reflection of its dedication to its employees and partners, according to Managing Director Australia David Clark.

Tauck has released details of a new all-inclusive ‘Around the World in 100 Days’ tour, to celebrate its momentous 100 years in operation. The once in a lifetime trip will traverse 67,600 kilometres, across 15 countries and six continents and includes a river cruise. The 100-day journey commences from the Canadian Rockies on 29 July 2025 and will conclude in South America on 5 November 2025.

More than 700 Tauck employees, family members, Tauck Director guides, board members and sponsoring partners gathered in Florence, Italy last week to celebrate the company’s 100th anniversary and kick off its second century of hosting travellers around the globe. Traveling to Florence from 32 countries, attendees assembled in 13 hotels across the city from 3 to 6 February 2025, gathering for general plenary meetings and focused breakout sessions, daily sightseeing excursions, gala evening events and an array of volunteerism activities.

A new 2025 river cruise from Tauck will visit traditional Christmas markets along the River Seine – its fifth Christmas market-themed river cruise and its first in France.
