The Apurva Kempinski Bali has become the first hotel in Indonesia to achieve the benchmark Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) Certification.

Kempinski Hotels has been chosen to be one of the first international hotel groups to operate a luxury resort on the Indonesian island of Lombok. The hospitality company has inked a management agreement with Indonesian developer PT. Teluk Agung Alami to operate The Apurva Kempinski Lombok.

The Apurva Kempinski Bali has introduced Sound Meditation: a brand-new program designed to help guests achieve mindfulness. Using the healing properties of sound therapy, the program is presented in the form of sound meditation.

The Apurva Kempinski Bali has launched 43 private villas, nestled in tropical gardens on the clifftops of Nusa Dua. Kempinski Hotels will open its second property in Indonesia, The Apurva Kempinski Bali, on 1 February 2019. The brand new property will debut in the upmarket Nusa Dua area of Bali, with 475 well-appointed guestrooms, suites and discreet villas (60% of which have plunge pools) in a quiet beachfront setting. Six restaurants, bars and lounges. An immersive ocean-facing spa and fitness centre offers treatments inspired by traditional Balinese healing practices, to promote balance and wellbeing.
