Quark Expeditions delivers high on helicopter adventures in the Antarctic 2024/25 season

Quark Expeditions has introduced a new “cutting-edge” Greenland itinerary centred around Ultramarine’s two twin-engine helicopters – and brought to life with local Greenlandic partners, enabling guests to enjoy the most innovative itinerary in Quark Expeditions’ 32-year history. The 11-day Greenland Explorer: Sail and Soar the Alpine Arctic will launch in 2024.

Quark Expeditions has reported the successful inaugural voyage of Ultramarine in the Canadian Arctic. Departing last Monday [1 August 2022], Ultramarine embarked on the 17-day Northwest Passage: In the Footsteps of Franklin voyage – one of the operator’s five expeditions that explore the Canadian High Arctic this season.

Quark Expeditions will make a much-awaited return to the rarely-visited emperor penguin colony at Snow Hill Island in the Weddell Sea of Antarctica. The 14-day Emperor Penguin Quest: Expedition to Snow Hill will operate two departures in November 2023.
