Qatar Airways is resuming operations to Malta with four weekly flights from 2 July 2025. The resumption to Malta will expand Qatar Airways’ network to nearly 50 destinations in Europe.

MSC Cruises’ LNG-powered mega-ship MSC World Europa officially inaugurated the port of Valletta’s shore power facility in Malta this week – the first to be operational in the Mediterranean Sea. Malta’s Prime Minister Robert Abela toured the ship to mark the occasion.

Oceania Cruises celebrated the launch of its first new ship in over a decade in Valletta, Malta on Monday evening, with the christening ceremony of Vista.
