Property additions include hotels around the globe that are set in restored monasteries, luxurious tented camps, expansive farm estates, and even new waterfront masterpieces.

It’s out of reach for Australian travellers, but Rocco Forte’s hotel in Sicily, Verdura Resort, may be onto something that could be adopted locally.

Eight new private luxury villas are set to launch at Verdura Resort by Rocco Forte Hotels in September. Set on the estate’s hillside, the new villas will guarantee privacy and security for those who seek independent accommodation, but maintaining the resort’s exclusive services.
