Hawaii’s Moana Surfrider has reached a major milestone in its ongoing renewal, unveiling its refreshed lobby and welcoming guests to newly renovated rooms in the Tower Wing.

Halekulani, a luxury hotel in Waikiki, this week unveiled two new Premier Suites—The Bungalow and The Penthouse—available to book for USD $5,000 a night. With the introduction of these two suites, the hotel’s collection of Premier Suites now totals five.

Waikiki’s iconic Moana Surfrider, is embarking on a remarkable renewal in celebration of its 125th anniversary.

Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group has unveiled details of its first resident production in Hawai’i that has been named “‘Auana”. Announced 12 months ago, the Hawai’i-inspired production will be hosted at Outrigger Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel from late 2024, and is a unique curation of artistry, acrobatics and heritage.

Halepuna Waikiki by Halekulani checked in its first guests on 25 October to the new luxury boutique hotel. With 284 rooms and four suites, the multi-million-dollar transformed Halepuna Waikiki is located directly across from the iconic Halekulani.

Hawaii hotel specialist Aqua-Aston Hospitality have revealed the company’s sole luxury property, ESPACIO The Jewel of Waikiki, will open to guests in September 2019.

An opening date of 25 October 2019 has been announced for Halekulani’s new sister property, Halepuna Waikiki by Halekulani. What was formerly the Waikiki Parc is mid-way through an extensive refurbishment and upgrade that commenced in October last year. Billed as “the first luxury boutique hotel in Waikiki”, bookings are now being accepted on the property’s newly launched website – www.halepuna.com.

Outrigger Hospitality Group celebrates the unveiling of Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger –its first lifestyle hotel located in the centre of Waikiki. Following an extensive US$35 million modernisation, the ‘Outrigger’ property now boasts 498 freshly designed guest rooms, renewed public spaces including the pool deck and two meeting areas, plus an all-new lobby, porte-cochere and much more.

Ltd., a leading global real estate company headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, together with Halekulani Corporation, this week announced the fall 2019 opening of Halepuna Waikiki by Halekulani, to be situated on the site of Waikiki Parc Hotel. The property, which has been a staple of the Waikiki skyline for three decades, has begun a multi-million-dollar transformation. The reimagined entity will become Waikiki’s new upscale, boutique hotel near the fabled waterfront, and sister property to the iconic neighbouring luxury resort, Halekulani.
