African travel specialist, Wilderness Safaris, has rebranded ahead of its 40th anniversary in 2023 to Wilderness.

Virtuoso Preferred partners, Wilderness Safaris and White Desert have united to release two joint itineraries featuring the best of Africa and Antarctica, scheduled to operate in January 2023.

Wilderness Safaris has unveiled the completely rebuilt DumaTau Camp, as well as Little DumaTau – a co-located but smaller and more intimate camp – in northern Botswana’s Linyanti Wilderness Reserve.

Wilderness Safaris has reopened Jao Camp in the heart of Botswana’s Okavango Delta after an 8.5-month transformation, introducing five spacious tented suites and two new exclusive villas which come with a private vehicle, guide, chef and butler.

Wilderness Safaris is set to return to Chikwenya in Zimbabwe’s majestic 1.7 million hectare (4.2 million acre) Mana Pools National Park after more than a decade’s absense. The elegant new Chikwenya Camp, situated at the confluence of the Sapi and Zambezi Rivers on the eastern boundary of the Park, will be opening for guests from 1 October 2018.
