Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) added 49 hotels to its portfolio in the first half of 2025, with new openings already lined up for later this year including the Yarra Valley’s Levantine Hill.

Levantine Hill Hotel, the first all-suite luxury hotel for Victoria’s Yarra Valley, has firmed up an opening for June 2025. As foreshadowed exclusively by LATTE earlier this month, the property will be part of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World collection.

Abercrombie & Kent has introduced a new collection of small group escapes, initially offered from Adelaide and Melbourne, with more escapes also in the pipeline.

Victoria’s Yarra Valley will welcome its first globally-branded, upscale hotel in 2021 with InterContinental Hotels Group revealing plans for a new low-rise, 170-room property in the popular tourist destination.
